Chloë Moretz keeps her makeup simple if she is wearing an “older” dress. The 15-year-old actress always wants to look her age on the red carpet. Chloë is sometimes drawn to designer gowns which may not be suitable for a teenager. However, she ensures they complement her style by opting for natural hair and mak-up.
Recalling the Dolce & Gabbana dress with a flower print she wore to one movie premiere, Chloë told the latest issue of UK magazine Glamour: “The dress is older than my age so we kept the face natural to offset it.”
Chloë tends to keep her blonde locks loose and wavy when she attends showbiz bashes. The star also opts for nude lips and smoky eyes, and rarely experiments with eyeshadow.
However, while wearing a yellow minidress from Versace for H&M for one event, she decided to be braver with her makeup.
“It was the first time I’d worn colored eyes,” she recalled. “I don’t do color on my eyes, ever. But it was good. New for me.”
