One minute rundown: Probably the person most famous for doing practically nothing, the hotel heiress has had a hard time fending off the paps in the last couple of years, thanks to her bad-girl reputation and love of the Hollywood party circuit. Having fully explored such meaningful things as "soccer and cheerleading" in LA, at 15, Paris and sister Nicky were moved to the family-owned Waldorf hotel in New York, where they soon started crashing celebrity events. Not much changed.

In 2003, a sex tape entitled "One Night In Paris" was circulated on the net, featuring the it-girl and Shannon Doherty's ex husband Rick Salomon. Unsurprisingly, a few weeks later over 13 million fans tuned in to see their horny heiress in reality TV show "The Simple Life" with childhood pal Nicole Ritchie. The show doubled audience figures for FOX and its success scored Paris a book deal, a jewellery line, an auto-biography... even a short (and not-so-sweet) pop career.
