One minute rundown: The pint-sized starlets have been in the public eye since they were ickle babies, when they were chosen from a batch of twins to play the character Michelle Tanner in popular TV comedy, Full House. The twins were legally represented by entertainment industry attorney Robert Thorne, who negotiated their salary from a measly 4k USD, right up to 80k per episode by the time the show had finished.

He then became the lucky CEO of the twins' Dualstar Entertainment Group, and so began their billion-dollar enterprise. Today, the twins are fashion icons on the New York scene, and although Mary Kate has battled anorexia the girls (now 20) remain firm American idols, with successful albums, videos and clothing ranges under their teeny belts. Their acting careers however, have been less successful. New York Minute was a box office flop, even though they kissed boys and took off their clothes. Oh dear.
