Significant others: Recently split from supermodel Kate Moss

One minute rundown: Loveable loser Pete is now a singer and songwriter with British indie band Babyshambles, although he's also a rather naughty boy - most well known for his drug taking and drinking habits. In the late 1990's Pete and fellow musician Carl Barât formed a band called The Libertines and he was praised for his songwriting skills. It all went to his head, along with a lot of other narcotics that led to him being kicked out of the band. In 2003 he served two months in prison for burgling Barat's flat, although the two made amends whilst he was behind bars and went on to perform again, a day after Pete's release.

After more trouble with the law, Pete was asked to leave the band again, and he's since been involved with Babyshambles. The lanky lay-about has been in the press a lot, thanks to the gradual yet long term leading-astray of supermodel Kate Moss, after they started dating in 2005. After two years of on again, off again declarations of love and promises of eternal happiness, the mother of one finally seems to have woken up and come to her senses, (bravo!) although Pete was allegedly responsible for the downfall of her career last year, after she was caught doing cocaine.
