One minute rundown: With a voice bigger than Vanessa Feltz, this ex-Mouseketeer was destined for greatness, and after starring on the show for two seasons from 1993, a mini Christina and her proud mum upped sticks to Japan so she could go it alone - starting with a hit duet with a Japanese pop star. In 1998 she impressed Disney by warbling to perfection and was snapped up for the soundtrack title Reflection to the movie Mulan. Her self-titled album followed, as did a stream of hit songs including 'Genie In A Bottle'. At the 42nd annual Grammy's she performed with Enrique Inglesias and won Best New Artist, severely annoying newcomer Britney Spears in the process.

A pop collaboration with divas Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink for the song and video to Moulin Rouge - Lady Marmalade - won them another Grammy Best Pop Collaboration and an MTV award for Best Video. Multi-platinum album Stripped followed, as did that controversial kiss with Madonna and former 'rival' Spears, although "Dirrty" girl Christina cleaned up her act with her engagement to music exec Jordan Bratman in 2006.
