One minute rundown: Nicole attended Lionel Richie's concerts as a kid and he was, apparently, quite taken with the tot - asking if she could move in with him and his wife. He adopted her at age six, and probably had some regrets a few months back when an all grown up Nicole was done for drugs. For a while, though, the cutey-pie was as innocent as apple pie - like at school, when she made friends with Paris Hilton and talked about... cheerleading, and... stuff.

The naughty "it" girls have since starred together in five seasons of dumb and dumber show The Simple Life - featuring the blonde party animals taking on various jobs to fund their travels round America. Before and during a ten month engagement to Adam Goldstein, Nicole was plagued with eating disorders and drug addictions and her fluctuating weight has earned her far more inches in columns than she has on each thigh. The two broke up due to insurmountable differences and naughty Nicole has just been ordered to serve four days in jail for drinking under the influence, although at the time of writing she's four months pregnant with boyfriend (and Hilary Duff's ex) Joel Madden's love child.
