Career: Jonathan got his big break in the 1998, playing a glam rock star in the film Velvet Goldmine. Roles in Bend it Like Beckham, Vanity Fair and Alexander followed, and he won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2005 mini-series, Elvis. In 2007 he was cast in the historical TV drama, The Tudors as Henry VIII.

Relationships: He has been linked to actresses Toni Collette, Katie McGrath and Asia Argento. He has an on/off relationship Reena Hammer, who has been the creative director of beauty company Urban Retreat since 2004.

FYI: Jonathan has been the face of several advertising campaigns, including Versace and Hugo Boss men’s fragrance.
