Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod)

Career: Alex Rodriguez is an American Major League Baseball third baseman for the New York Yankees. He formerly played for the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers. He is the youngest player ever to hit 500 home-runs and in December 2007 he signed a 10-year $275million contract - the richest in baseball history.

Relationships: Alex married psychology graduate Cynthia Scurtis in November 2002. They have two children: Natasha Alexander, born 18th November 2004, and Ella Alexander, born 21st April 2008. Their marriage was dogged by rumours of his infidelity and they separated in July 2008, amidst talk that he was having an affair with Madonna. Since his divorce he has dated actresses Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz.

FYI: On 4th August 2010, Alex became the 7th player in Major League history to hit 600 home runs.
