Justin Bieber shows Billy Crystal his reach

It wasn’t just movie stars making an impact at the Oscars on 26 February. Justin Bieber popped up in the Academy Awards' opening video alongside host Billy Crystal for his parody of Midnight in Paris.

In the video, Justin, dressed in a tux, walked up to the actor/comedian, saying, "What's up? I'm here to get you the 18 to 24 demographic. So how long do you want me to sit here for?"

"A couple seconds I think will do it," Billy replied, before the two exchanged a long awkward glance and moved on to another skit. The Bieb is obviously aware of the power he has over the younger audience... and we love that he's got a sense of humour about it too. Catch the bit right here!

Seeing beaver is beliebing

Want to be Justin Bieber? Well, now you can but there's a catch and some rather prominent teeth that add on as part of the package. A new app called Joustin' Beaver, which bears an uncanny resemblance to JB, has emerged and it's not gone down well with our fave young pop star.  

The game has players floating down the ‘river of stardom’, signing otter-graphs for fans while defending Joustin’ from the phot-hogs (or paps, if you’re reading into it).

According to TMZ, Bieber's lawyers aren’t happy and have asked for the game to be removed, but the company who created the app, RC3, claim it's a parody and protected from copyright claims. We belieb it’s hilarious!

Justin Bieber's going from First Step 2 Forever to Just Getting Started

The Biebs has announced book number two and we expect Beliebers to make a beeline for this one too! Following up on 2010's Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever, My Story is Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started, which is set for release in September 2012. Containing exclusive photos from studio sessions and backstage tour images, plus never-before-seen personal snaps, it's what all the fans wants.

“Being able to share my story with my fans through these books is an absolute privilege,” Justin told US Weekly, “I can't wait to show them more about my life on tour and in the studio in this next book.”
