Justin Bieber's been robbed... well, sort of! Thieves stole over £213,000 in takings following a Biebs concert in South Africa on Sunday (12 May).

The robbers allegedly spent at least three days burrowing through walls at Johannesburg's FNB Stadium before swiping around three million rand just hours after Justin had walked off stage.

The cash came from merchandise and refreshments sold at the 19-year-old star's show - part of his worldwide Believe Tour - as well as takings from a gig by Bon Jovi the previous evening, but officials only realised the money was missing on Monday morning (13 May).

A police officer from nearby Booysens police station in Soweto said: "The money was taken from the building and they only realised today. We don't know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence."

The crooks - who are said to have been armed with chisels, hammers and ropes - are believed to have gained access to a room, where cash was stored, through the roof before lowering themselves down using a rope.

South African police spokeswoman Katlego Mogale said: "The suspect had gained entry through the roof. They broke the tile of the bathroom between last night after the concert and this morning."

Mama's boy Justin Bieber serenaded his mother on stage for Mother's Day! Biebs surprised his mum Pattie Mallette by pulling her on stage during his concert in Johannesburg, South Africa on 12 May for a special rendition of his song One Less Lonely Girl to mark the maternal occasion - which was celebrated by many countries on Sunday.

Before the on-stage tribute, Justin tweeted: "Happy Mother's Day @pattiemallette. Today u r my #OLLG. Love u"

Justin usually selects a lucky girl from the crowd to croon the love song to, but despite the throngs of screaming teenage girls in the audience, the singer instead chose to give Pattie, 38, a moment to cherish.

The pop superstar presented his mother with a bouquet of roses and gave her a huge hug and kiss on the cheek as he sang the track, which includes lyrics such as "I'm coming for you, I'm gonna put you first/ I'm coming for you, I'll show you what you're worth".

Afterwards, proud mum Pattie tweeted: "So yep @justinbieber surprised me for mother's day tonight & brought me out for OLLG! #verysweet"

Justin also documented the sweet moment by posting a snap and tweeting: "I love my momma . Great night tonight."

As if Justin Bieber's speeding tickets in Dubai weren't enough, the pop star's bodyguard insulted a police officer in the city too!

A team of security guys had to jump to Bieb's aid to flatten a fan who grabbed him on stage last Sunday night (5 May).

During the scuffle, one of his minders aimed a rude comment at a member of Dubai's Police's VIP protection squad and after taking offence, the officer reported the incident to his bosses and the bodyguard was summoned to the station to answer questions.

The unnamed man was facing three years in jail for his behaviour but after realising the consequences of his actions, he apologised, Justin said sorry for what had happened and the officer withdrew his complaint.

A police spokesman said: "Our officer didn't reply at the time of the offence but made a complaint at the police station. We asked the bodyguard to come in and he seriously apologised for his behaviour and expressed his regret for what happened, claiming he was under pressure due to the concert."

"The policeman accepted and waived the complaint. Bieber also expressed his appreciation for the policeman's behaviour, who acted in a civilised way even though the guard insulted the officer verbally."

Good on you, Biebs! Now if you'd only remembered to be on the right side of the law while driving in the city too...

Selena Gomez says dating Justin Bieber is "crazy and intense".

The 20-year-old singer has an on/off relationship with Justin and while they haven't clarified the status of their love life, she admitted all the attention surrounding them hasn't made their time together easy.

She told InStyle: "[It is] crazy and very intense. It's uncomfortable that everywhere I go, people know. I don't like that. I have to go through the emotions and feel it out. I'm doing my own thing, being with my friends, and he's doing very well too."

The ballad Love Will Remember on her new album Stars Dance is about Justin and Selena thinks he will approve.

She said: "That's the most personal track on the record for sure. I think it's a sweet way of releasing it. It's not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I'm sure he'll love it too."

After Selena and Justin, 19, recently spent time together in Norway, her friends and family urged her to dump Justin for good.

A source said: "We did everything we could to keep them apart but he was so persistent. It's really unhealthy they have such a turbulent relationship at such a young age. He leaves her in floods of tears constantly."

"She has had a really difficult year or so dealing with the tense emotions that come with dating him. We thought she had finally broken free. But he has persuaded her to take him back again. There's not much we can do about it - but we are going to try."

Another friend added: "She spent the last year of their relationship an emotional wreck. And we can see no end in sight to this."
