Ananta

An Indian restaurant with Indians in means the food is good. One that’s visited by a Bollywood celeb is even better. The king of Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan has been spotted here, so you know that this is something very special.

Design embellishments enhance the experience. It’s an opulent setting, decked out in with rich crimson furnishings and hues of red and gold. The floor-to-ceiling windows incorporate the ambient philosophy of height, light and space. The walls are adorned with historical and contemporary paintings from local artists.

The service is attentive but never intrusive. Waiting staff are knowledgeable and well-versed in the menu, offering recommendations based on your preferences. They also know when to leave you alone though, to either enjoy the fabulous food or allow for intimate conversation.

Take a peek behind the scenes. The magnificent show kitchen allows guests to see Ananta’s culinary masters handcrafting delicacies before they’re brought to the table.

A complete novice when it comes to Indian cuisine? A traditional Indian Thali comprises several small dishes that make up a complete meal and allows you to experience a little of everything. The offering here is set over five-courses and is available in veg and non-veg options, so you can get acquainted with what you do and don’t like, without overwhelming the appetite. Plus, it offers extremely good value for money, priced at just Dhs350 per person.
