  • Conducting yourself in a way that commands the respect of others is essential when you’re a female in a male-dominated environment. I practice law in Dubai as a UK-qualified solicitor, and over the past year I’ve worked on, and closed, a number of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and co-invest deals. The transactions I’ve worked on have taken me to countries that include the US, France and Russia – places where I’ve now built a network of talented individuals across multiple sectors.
  • The best advice I’ve ever received is: “Stop worrying about matters that are beyond your control.” In addition, continuous self-criticism and introspection are keys to success and help me to be the best version of myself and the best at what I do. Looking at situations from different angles and perspectives, and continuously analysing and evaluating is very important.

  • I’m lucky to be part of a generation where the sky’s the limit. The UAE is the land of opportunity and has an environment that breeds talent and harnesses the potential of entrepreneurs and professionals.
