The F1 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to welcome visitors with much more than the actual race action taking place on the Yas Marina Circuit. With outdoor activities, concerts and after parties scheduled over the F1 weekend, there are so many reasons to head down to the capital to enjoy the Yasalam celebrations. Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix – The Race
The Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix is back to the capital for its sixth year. The race event, hosted at Yas Marina Circuit, has established itself as one of the most spectacular happenings on the Abu Dhabi social calendar and has grown to become one of the most exciting racing events in the world.
The F1 season started in Australia earlier on in March 2014 and has made its way around the globe, with its next stop scheduled to land in Abu Dhabi on 23 November.
The event's capacity has increased to host 60,000 guests - 5,000 more than in 2013, making it the biggest sporting event of the year, so don't miss out on a whole weekend of fun and excitement!
The weekend circuit action starts with the training on Friday, 21 November, on to the qualifying on Saturday, 22 November, culminating in the race on Sunday, 23 November.

After Race Concerts at the du Arena
The fun doesn't stop on the race tracks, as the F1 weekend is an all-encompassing entertainment extravaganza, and the official after race concerts are one of the most anticipated part of the entire happening.
Superstar DJ Armin Van Buuren will take the stage on 21 November. The Dutch DJ and music producer made it to the top on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs fan poll a record of five times in a row and with a massive fan base all over the world, Van Buuren is definitely going to please his local followers with his set of progressive trance tunes.
On 22 November, make sure to clap your hands when Pharrell Williams hits the stage with his happy vibes. The Lucky hitmaker has called some major hits his own and with some high-profile collaborations over the past years, Pharrell has broadened his former hip hop horizon extensively to become a music superstar.
The Who will perform on 23 November, ending the after 2014 race concerts with hits like We're Not Gonna Make It, as the evergreen act of this year's line up.

Beats on the Beach
If you're up to see more stars, or grabbing up race tickets was out of the budget, then hang out at this year's free of charge Beats on the Beach concerts, UAE's biggest free music festival, featuring an exciting local and international line up.
Thursday, 20 November, will set the tone for Beats on the Beach, featuring Filipino sensation Charice and rapper Juicy J on stage. Rapper Juicy J, who collaborated with Katy Perry on the hit single Dark Horse, has a history of delivering huge routines as part of the Three 6 Mafia crew and as a solo performer with tracks such as Shell Checked with Wiz Khalifa or Low with Nicki Minaj.
Arabic songstress Chada Hassoun and Moroccan hip-hop emerging artist, Two Tone, will also take the stage on Thursday night, to present the crowd with a diverse music mix.

O1NE Yas Island

Chart-topper Jason Derulo will take the stage on 20 November, Armin Van Buuren will then take over the decks on 21 November, T-Pain is in the house on Saturday, 22 November and to finish off the weekend in style with celebrated house DJ Solomun.
During the day when you're not fist-pumping to great music, there are loads of activities happening beyond the race tracks, so you are guaranteed to find something to do. The opening parade will take place on the 13 November, from the Abu Dhabi Corniche East Plaza, all the way to the West Plaza. The iconic Yasalam parade is a great event to see with your friends and family, as you witness the excitement of the festival weekend build up and enjoy the music. Cheer on local school floats, children, marching band and breathtaking performers in this huge choreographed parade along the boardwalk.
