Car lovers have a special reason to celebrate on 14 February this year – it’s the day that Abu Dhabi Motors will launch the world’s biggest BMW Group showroom in Abu Dhabi. It’s going to be star-studded line-up at the party too – popular Lebanese pop star and actress Maya Diab and legendary artist Wael Khoury will be in town to entertain guests at the do.
The opening of the Dhs300 million state-of-the-art showroom in Umm Al Nar, hosted by Abu Dhabi Motors (the exclusive importer of the BMW Group in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain), is going to be a black tie invitation-only affair. Making it all even more luxe will be several BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce models that will be displayed for the first time ever in the Emirate. We’re talking the all-new sixth generation BMW 3 Series, the world’s most popular premium vehicle, and the new MINI Roadster, the first open-top two-seater in the brand‘s history. Two never-seen-before Bespoke Rolls-Royce vehicles will also be showcased.
There’s more! The BMW 3.0 CSL GT2 Art Car, which started the Art Car series in 1975, and the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics concept vehicle, driven by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol, will also be flown in especially for the event.
Another treat for guests will be a sneak preview of the new ultra-luxurious four-door BMW sports coupe, set to be officially launched in the Middle East in May 2012. The new BMW ALPINA B6 BITURBO sports coupe will also be revealed.
The new showroom facility in Abu Dhabi has an area of 35,000 square meters divided between Rolls-Royce, BMW, MINI, Motorrad and BMW Premium Selection, the company's pre-owned vehicle division.
