The legendary Ibiza-based DJs and producers Solomun and Sven Väth return to the UAE music scene for two separate pop-up events across the same weekend.

The events will take place during the F1 race weekend at the Yas Island Rotana, an ideal location only five minutes walking distance from all of the action at the Yas Marina Circuit. Renowned for his standout DJ sets and definitive remixes, Solomun will be headlining the event on 27 November and on 29 November Sven Väth, otherwise known as Papa Sven, will be bringing his Cocoon Ibiza sounds to Abu Dhabi, which have created one of the world’s most successful parties over the past sixteen years.

Solomun has played a major role in redefining European house music, with productions, remixes and stand-out DJ sets that take the very building blocks of house and sensitively reconstruct them, adding a fresh, ultramodern twist to the genre. His stratospheric rise in popularity kicked off in 2012 after a legendary first season in Ibiza with his own label-inspired Diynamic Neon Nights at Sankeys, followed by his own night every Sunday at Pacha Ibiza Solomun +1. This brought Solomun rewards in including Best Producer title at the DJ Awards Ibiza and DJ of the Year from Mixmag Magazine.

Sven Väth is a legend in his own lifetime; with a commitment and passion that has influenced the evolution of electronic music, and for that very reason he is known in the scene as Papa Sven. An extraordinary residency in one of the best clubs in the world was unleashed in 1999 - Cocoon Ibiza, Amnesia on a Monday night. 15 years of parties have since taken place that have set new standards in production and have never compromised on what matters most - the music. An incredible risk became, and still is, one of the great successes in modern music and clubbing. A phenomenon now attracting upwards of 80,000 visitors in a four-month season with Sven Väth front and centre throughout.

Eden Beach Club: Friday 27 November- Solomun, 10pm-4am, Sunday 29 November- Sven Väth, Dhs600 for double-passes for both events, and table packages starting from Dhs8,000, Yas Island Rotana, 04 227 1477, reservation@edenbeachclub.com
