When it comes to fashion, Qatari national Abdulla is a relative newbie on the scene; however, his personal sense of style captured the world’s attention on a grand scale within social media in 2013, which began with a blog on menswear he created last February during London Fashion Week. With over 7000 followers on Facebook and Instagram, Abdulla swiftly rose through the fashion ranks, with his indisputable influence on a widespread audience leading to collaborations with revered designers such as Marc Jacobs, DSquared and Level Shoe District. Based on his success, Abdulla decided to move to Dubai to launch his own label; The Gild, which debuted its first ready-to-wear collection featuring both menswear and womenswear pieces last year.

The future looks just as busy for the fledgling designer, with frequent trips between London and Dubai having become a necessity for the growth of his brand. However, this go-getter isn’t about to leave anything to chance when it comes to his personal success by pursuing an entirely different career academically, having impressively just completed the first year of his law degree.
