The East India Company Opens its Doors in Abu Dhabi

The ritual of drinking tea is a very serious affair in India and one that is clearly catching on in the Middle East, with the opening of the East Indian Company's third store in the region; it's first in the UAE, befittingly making its debut at the glamorous Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi. Here, you can expect to find the finest Darjeeling from India to jasmine blossom from China, however what makes this even more special is that each tea is carefully selected by the company's 'Tea Master' who ensures that the leaves are available in-store within 28 days from the time they are picked. Coffee is also availabale of course, as well as artisan sweet and savoury biscuits, jams and marmalades and a chocolate range - basically anything that goes well with a nice hot cuppa. However, don't be fooled into thinking that this is just any old tea shop, the company also produce their own hand crafted bone china and porcelain from which you can sip your premium brew to take high tea to the highest heights.
