Jen Is Doing Well
Jamie Foxx speaks out about friend Jennifer Hudson after brutal family murders
Jen Is Doing WellJENNIFER HUDSON is "feeling good" and preparing for a big showbiz comeback, three months after her mother, brother and young nephew were brutally murdered.
Jennifer has delayed her return to public life, as she struggles to come to terms with the killings - for which her former brother-in-law William Balfour has been charged by police.
She had hoped to attend BARACK OBAMA's presidential inauguration in Washington, DC on Tuesday, after having helped her native Chicago, Illinois senator on the campaign trail, but Hudson has delayed her comeback until the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida on 1 February, where she will sing the American National Anthem.
And Jamie Foxx, who starred alongside Hudson in the movie Dreamgirls, insists she is raring to go: "Of course she was disappointed (to miss the inauguration). But nobody has seen her in so long, so it would've been crazy (to do that).
"She's doing well, and she said that she wants to get back into the swing of things. She's feeling good."
Foxx was among the stars who paid tribute to Obama at a free concert and spoken word spectacular on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.
The actor/comedian wowed the crowd by impersonating the President-elect and repeating his election night victory address in November.
