JENNIFER LOPEZ has dismissed reports her marriage to MARC ANTHONY is in trouble, after she failed to wear her wedding band to the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

The singer and actress has blasted reports the couple are due to split saying "Divorce is not an option!"

Despite attending the awards with the Latino crooner the mum-of-two fuelled reports their marriage is on the rocks when she was spotted without her wedding ring.

But today La Lopez insists she was just making a fashion statement and she and Marc are still very much together.

She says: "Every time I'm not wearing my ring, people think I'm getting divorced. That's crazy. It just didn't go with the dress.

"Divorce is not and was never an option."

The couple has been dogged by break-up reports for weeks, with one US tabloid claiming La Lopez and Anthony were planning to announce a break-up publicly on St. Valentine's Day. Publicists for the couple have dismissed the report as "nonsense".

JLo's music mogul pal Benny Medina has even spoken out in defence of the couple's marriage, saying: "Jennifer and Marc are committed to the future and to each other."
