BEN AFFLECK and JENNIFER GARNER have named their newborn baby daughter SERAPHINA ROSE ELIZABETH.

The tot entered world in Los Angeles last week.

No explanation was offered for the name, but it is derived from the Hebrew word seraphim, which means "fiery ones".

Speaking before the birth, Ben insisted he and Jen would opt for a "traditional name" for their second child, as they did with their fist daughter VIOLET.
