Oh, how we love the unpredictability of dignified men dressing up as women, pretending to be deaf as the crowd screams the obvious from the shadows of the stalls.... (sigh)

Ah, come on. You want to go to the Panto. You know you do. Not least because the concept of Glass Slippers has always intrigued you. Or because Dubai's as starved of theatre as Paris Hilton is of functioning brain cells. But seriously, what would the season of merriment be without a healthy, nostalgic journey back to fairytale land?

It's Cinderella's turn to take the stage at the Madinat Theatre this month. Yup, once DIFF is done and dusted, there's a fairy godmother/Prince Charming/ pumpkin-tastic treat lined up for you, all the way into January! Take the kids... or if you don't have any, pretend they couldn't make it but you thought you should really go anyway. (Hey, kids are busy these days!)
