Elton John heads to UAE
Five time Grammy winner due to play in Abu Dhabi...
If Justin didn't do it for you, maybe this guy will? None other than Sir Elton John has been booked to play the same venue as the Trousersnake in January! Word seems to be spreading that the UAE is filled with starved music fans doesn't it! They're all begging to play for us now!
The five time Grammy award winner will perform to several thousand adoring fans at the Emirates Palace Hotel on January 22nd, 2008.
With a career that's spanned four decades, Elton's a pretty influential figure in the music business. He's sold 250 million albums in his time, plus over a hundred million singles, and in Britain, he's the second most played artist on the radio, behind pal George Michael. Not bad for a bloke born as Reginald Dwight, in Pinner.
Some of the songs he might just play for Abu Dhabi include Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Crocodile Rock, Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me and Candle In The Wind.
Oooh you know, he might be old and greying but Elton's still hot stuff. We predict the tickets will be snapped up just as fast as Justin's, so check back soon to find out where to buy them!
