Why? Anyone recall Madonna at the Live Earth gig? Wasn't she just loving telling the world a) "You've got to change this time...", and b) that, basically, all you scum-sucking consumers should be ashamed of yourselves!

Anyway, if you could just listen to what Madonna wants you to do, and not do what she does, that would be just fine with her.

Along with Simon Cowell, Kate Moss and, surprisingly given his stance on the environment, Al Gore, Madonna was one of the 3,422 rich'n'famous flyers who refused to join in an environmental scheme to share their private jets as a way of going green.

Just 78 of the stinkin' rich said they'd be willing to share their toy with other passengers, but Kate Moss's people called the arrangement "impractical". We agree. All this silly ‘save the planet' malarkey? It's just soooo impractical!
