AMY WINEHOUSE has finally listened to her parents' concerns over her health and is now under medical supervision.

Her family ordered a doctor to visit her east London home on Thursday night, amid concerns her increasingly erratic behaviour was getting out of hand. Winehouse was recently spotted wandering in the street outside her house in a distressed state, wearing nothing but a bra and jeans!

The 24-year-old also fuelled speculation she is back on drugs after she was snapped on Wednesday with a white powder clearly visible in her nostrils - uh oh - been sniffing the Christmas cake have you? Hmmm?

Last month, Amy was ordered by doctors to cancel the remaining dates on her UK tour and withdraw from any promotional commitments until the
beginning of 2008 - to allow her to "take complete rest and deal with her health issues", according to a statement issued by her record company.

And now the star's family have insisted on helping her sort out her problems. Her father Mitch Winehouse says, "Amy was visited by a doctor (on Thursday) night. And we are seeing to it that she is monitored very carefully, every single day.

"So far we are pleased with the way things are going. We are keeping a very close eye on her."

Not quite close enough, perhaps. Keep the cakes locked up everyone!
