Amy's name has become synonymous with flakey behaviour, poor performances, looking like a state and being pathetically unable to do anything without her husband of seven months, Blake Fielder-Civil by her side.

And after she last week, cancelled her already troubled UK tour, many now wonder if Amy's become a has-been before she even got started.

Eating Disorders
Amy Says: "I went through every eating disorder you can have. A little bit of anorexia, a little bit of bulimia. I'm not totally okay now, but I don't think any woman is."
Why Does She Do It? Attempting to control her life through what she puts in her mouth, as more and more of it crumbles, Amy's way of keeping it together is to control her food intake.
Her Mum Says: "Last summer she performed at a friend's wedding and she was sick in the loos," revealed Janis. "Then, before Christmas, I was taking her to the dentist and she admitted she had anorexia and bulimia."

Self-Harming
Amy Says: "It's a funny thing, a morbid curiosity. What does that feel like? ‘Ow, that hurt.' It's the worst thing I've ever done."
Why Does She Do It? Attributing her cutting to "morbid curiosity", Amy also says that her drinking is a factor - "I'm quite self-destructive when I'm drunk" - and insists, "I'm not in this to be a role model."
Her Mum Says: "Her self-harming was never apparent. I never knew about it at the time."

Insecurity About Her Looks
Amy Says: "I'm quite an insecure person. I'm very insecure about the way I look. I'm a musician not a model. The more insecure I felt, the more I'd drink."
Why Is She Insecure? Amy's unconventional looks and style have drawn unkind comments, with blog sites branding her "ugly" and a recent poll by men's magazine, Maxim, branding her one of the world's unsexiest women.
Her Mum Says: "Amy was a beautiful child... She's on a path of self-mutilation. What else are all the tattoos about? They're horrible. It's like a sickness."

Drug Taking
Amy Says: "[My overdose was] one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I don't know how to explain what happened. I don't really know myself."
Why Does She Take Them? Friends close to Amy blame Blake, but even her husband has apparently insisted she check into rehab. Admittedly self-destructive, her mum, Janis says that Amy "never thinks of the consequences."
Her Mum Says: "[Her brother] Alex said to her, ‘You're going to kill yourself. You know that don't you? Are you happy that your life is like this?"
