JENNIFER ANISTON has finally broken her silence over Brangelina - branding her love rival ANGELINA JOLIE "uncool".

The former Friends actress has hit back after Angelina's recent confession that she and BRAD PITT  fell in love on the set of their movie Mr And Mrs Smith - while Jn and Brad were still married

The quote contradicted their previous claims they only hooked up after the split was made formal, a year later.

And it has prompted Jen to break her long silence on the subject, in an interview with the December issue of US Vogue magazine.

The 39-year-old says : "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a  time  when I was unaware that it was happening.

'I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss.'

According to the interview, Jennifer shakes her head in disbelief as she adds: "That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."

Her dislike of Angelina ,33, is such that, according to Jonathan Van Meter, who interviewed her, she asks him to switch off a tape recorder when the Tomb Raider star is mentioned.

Just last year, Angelina offered to meet Jen in her own interview with the magazine.

She said at the time, "If she wanted to (meet) then I would be open to it."

In the Vogue interview Jen talks about a cartoon in which she is pictured pointing a shotgun at Angelina after the actress suggested they meet, says it was one of the 'funniest  things' she had ever seen.

On her ex-husband Brad, Jen says that they remain close friends.

She reveals: 'I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and I'm proud of him.

'We have exchanged a few very kind hellos and wishing you wells and sending you love and congratulations on your babies.'

And Jen says she has finally put the pain of the divorce behind her.

"I've got to tell you, it's so vague at this point, it's so faraway in my mind, I can't even remember the darkness. I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split."

And it was a heart-to-heart telephone conversation soon after the couple parted that helped heal the scars of the break-up.

The actress adds, "Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other."
