Ange: "I'm Sorry Jen"

JENNIFER ANISTON has reportedly rejected a grovelling apology from ANGELINA JOLIE – the woman who stole her husband four years ago. According to insiders, Ange privately reached out to Jen last week, in a bid to beg for forgiveness, following her candid public confession that she fell for Brad Pitt while he was still married.

But an absolutely furious Jen – who had always believed Brad’s assurances that the two relationships didn’t overlap – sees the public confession as a fresh humiliation and has completely rejected Ange’s olive branch.

“Jen didn’t see any good reason to relieve Angelina of her guilt,” spilled a source. “I think what she really wanted to do was point a finger in her face and shout, ‘Homewrecker!’”

Fresh hurt
Jen was reportedly devastated when Ange recently let it slip that she and Brad “fell in love” on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith, which was filmed before Jen and Brad announced their split in January 2005, with friends claiming the revelation re-opened old wounds for Jen.

Brad has always maintained that he didn’t start seeing Ange until after his marriage to Jen had ended, so Jen was reportedly left burning with embarrassment and rage when Ange finally admitted that she had been duped.

Realising her faux pas too late, Ange immediately resolved to try to secretly contact Jen behind Brad’s back in order to make the peace, say insiders.

“Angelina desperately wanted to make amends with Jen and bury the hatchet once and for all,” said a source. “She told Jen she’s sorry that she lost her heart to her husband as they worked together on a film.”

But, despite having found love again more recently with John Mayer, Jen is adamant she is not going to forgive Ange for all the pain and hurt she selfishly caused her.

Twisting the knife
To make matters worse, Brad has opened up about his relationship with Ange to US talk-show host Oprah Winfrey – who is a close personal friend of Jen. When asked by Oprah if he’s the happiest he’s ever been, an awkward Brad replied tentatively, “Dare I say?” before gushing about his kids, and how he and Ange can’t wait to add even more children to their ever-growing brood.

The comments will likely leave a bitter taste for Jen, who friends say is desperate to have kids of her own.

Moving on
As her past heartache is replayed out publicly once again, Jen is more determined than ever to make her on/off relationship with John Mayer work, with the couple now reportedly planning a family of their own.

Jen’s rumoured to have become so obsessed with having children with John that she’s already begun undergoing fertility treatment, and has resolved to conceive before her 40th birthday in February, say insiders.

“She knows her baby-making years are limited,” said a source. “It’s hard for her to think of anything else – she has babies on the brain.”

And friends report that former playboy John is just as keen to settle down.

“He ordered a bunch of books on Amazon about pregnancy and parenting,” spilled a pal. “He’s just as eager as Jen is. They’ve discussed how they plan to raise their kids, and they agree on mostly everything. They can’t wait to be parents together.”

Final revenge
Pals also reveal that Jen longs for a multiple birth to rival her nemesis Ange.

“Jen has changed her diet,” spilled a source. “She’s taking a lot of folic acid and has upped her intake of milk and beef — all of which are supposed to increase your chances of having twins. She’s even eating cassava root, a wild yam, because women in Africa who consume it have the highest rate of conceived twins.”
