It shocked us too - you might want to sit down. Apparently, SARAH JESSICA PARKER has launched a scathing attack on low-rise denim trousers - insisting the garments are too provocative. Yup... too provocative for the star of Sex and the City.

The actress - who plays fashion savvy Carrie Bradshaw in the forthcoming Sex And The City Movie - admits she will never be seen in crotch-skimming jeans because they're so uncomfortable.

She says, "(I won't wear) super low-rise jeans. There is not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing regardless of age. It's provocative in a way that I just don't feel comfortable with."
