Moviemaker GUY RITCHIE was at the centre of a row in his own London pub on Thursday - when police were called to evict a punter who had verbally abused the star.

Employees at The Punchbowl in Mayfair called emergency services on Thursday night when a customer launched into a verbal tirade against Guy - making crude remarks about his impending divorce from pop singer MADONNA.

The man was subsequently removed from the venue for disorderly behaviour, according to British newspaper the Daily Express.

A source tells the publication, "Guy was in the pub and in good spirits, laughing and joking over a pint. This bloke seemed to be on the look out for trouble. He got a drink and started shouting his mouth off about being a Madonna fan and ranting about the divorce. There was a big scene in the pub."

London's Metropolitan Police confirmed officers attended the incident but no charges were brought against the unnamed customer.
