British singing sensation LEONA LEWIS was booed by her own fans at last night's Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards after failing to turn up to cellect her two prizes.
Leona, winner of the 2006 series of TV talent competition The X Factor, proved she had made it after picking up two of the night's biggest gongs: Best Album for her debut, Spirit, and Best Video, for her worldwide smash hit Bleeding Love.
But the crowd, including her own fans, were less than impressed when the 21-year-old failed to show to collect her gongs.
DEspite her success Leona, missed out on the honour of being named Britain's Best Female artist - losing out to ESTELLE.
The singer was honoured as the U.K.'s top female, as well as winning Best Song for her comeback collaboration with KANYE WEST, American Boy, while the Best UK Male gong went to rapper DIZZEE RASCAL.
