Victoria says she's rooting for her pal

VICTORIA BECKHAM has lavished praise on her friend KATIE HOLMES - insisting she is "proud" of her for taking to the stage on Broadway.

Holmes made her debut in New York's theatre district last month in ARTHUR MILLER's All My Sons.

Mrs Beckham admits that although she hasn't been to see the play yet, she will definitely make time to support her pal.

She says, "We can't wait to come support Katie. Her husband TOM CRUISE says she's amazing, the reviews have been amazing.

"We're so proud of her."
