Toxic diet
Once known for scoffing fast food and guzzling sugary fizzy drinks, the former junk food addict has finally ditched her toxic diet for a healthier lifestyle.
Determined to snap back into shape for the launch of her new album, (which coincides with her 27th birthday in December), BRITNEY has embarked on a new mood-boosting eating plan to help supercharge her body and mind.
Gone is the greasy ponytail, bad skin and bloated muffin top, revealing lush locks, glowing skin and a glimmer of the enviable washboard abs of her heyday.

Diets too low in calories, can trigger chemical changes in the brain linked to depression.
Although Britney’s health problems originally stem from being bipolar, researchers maintain a diet packed with refined sugars and fats like burger-loving Brit’s can make even those without a history of depression feel sluggish.
Britney’s new diet aims to enhance her wellbeing, and help her drop the kilos.
She now eats the right balance of carbs, proteins and fats – “I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It’s a lot of food if you eat the right things. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been!’’
Britney’s dieting rules
1 Eat three servings of dairy a day. Dairy is packed with tryptophan, an amino acid which raises the brain’s serotonin levels.
2 Snack on a handful of raw unsalted nuts every day. Nuts are loaded with magnesium, which has been shown to reduce headaches and stress.
3 To avoid blood sugar dips which play havoc with your moods, eat lots of berries, vegetables and high fibre foods to avoid any energy slumps.
4 Every meal should combine 40 per cent carbs with 30 per cent fats and 30 per cent proteins, and meals should be cooked using olive oil.
5 Before bed, drink a cup of cocoa made with skimmed milk and a sugar substitute.
