Paris denies dogs' death
Socialite says her puppies are alive and well
Animal-loving socialite PARIS HILTON has rubbished claims two of her pet Chihuahuas were killed in a coyote attack earlier this week after the animals reportedly escaped from her Beverly Hills home.
The hotel heiress allegedly lost the dogs - spotted by neighbours and paparazzi roaming the streets - after she left the doors of her Beverly Hills home open, according to reports by celebrity website X17online.
The website reported that Hilton was "devastated" after the bodies of the animals were discovered the following morning.
But her spokesperson tells TV show Access Hollywood that the story is "completely false", adding: "(I) do not know how it developed."
Earlier this year, the hotel heiress was investigated after admitting she owned 17 dogs. Under U.S. law, a non-breeder is only allowed to have three dogs per address.
Her menagerie has also included a monkey, a ferret and an exotic kinkajou.
