Oasis star NOEL GALLAGHER will carry one of British boxer RICKY HATTON's belts into the ring in November.

The rocker has been asked to carry a championship belt before the IBF light-welterweight showdown with PAULIE MALIGNAGGI in Las Vegas.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Noel has agreed in principle.

"They're big mates."
