British model DAISY LOWE talked candidly about her relationship with superproducer MARK RONSON, in an interview published the same day the couple announced their split.

The 19-year-old beauty had been dating the star since the beginning of the year, but they recently decided to end their relationship - with a spokesman for Daisy confirming the news on Sunday.

The 14-year age gap between the pair is rumoured to have been a factor in the break-up.

And in an interview given just before the split, Daisy hinted about the difficulties of dating a man so much older than herself.

She says, "There are lots of times when I feel more mature than he is. I have never thought that age mattered. But I guess I'm a mature teenager and he's an immature adult.

"It's different being with somebody older. There are more factors."
