Brad and George Smash Box Office
Acting duo's new comedy tops the cinema chart
Hollywood heavyweights BRAD PITT and GEORGE CLOONEY have struck box office gold with their new movie.
Almost nine years after first starring together in a movie – Ocean’s Eleven – the pair have took the box office by storm again with their new hit comedy, Burn After Reading.
The film – which is directed by the COEN BROTHERS – has debuted at the top of the chart after taking US$19.4 million in its opening weekend, beating another new entry, TYLER PERRY's The Family That Preys, which opened in second place.
Even new flick, Righteous Kill, starring another heavyweight duo, AL PACINO and ROBERT DE NIRO, opened in third, ahead of MEG RYAN's movie The Women.
The House Bunny, starring ANNA FARRIS, rounds out the top five.
