How the divas will handle motherhoodpicture: FAMOUS
With Tinseltown awash with expectant A-listers, Ahlan! wonders how two of Hollywood's biggest divas will cope, and the sacrifices they'll have to make when they replace their demands with diapers...
Jennifer Lopez
Diva antics
Rooms painted white, special scented candles, yellow roses (with a red trim), dimmed lights, fruit platters, Egyptian cotton sheets and an entourage that encompasses not one, but two eyebrow technicians, are all famous J-Lo demands. So, with her designer pal Roberto Cavalli spilling, "Every week she is getting bigger" (as if we hadn't guessed from the bump anyway!), many have been wondering how J-Lo is going to cope with someone more demanding than she is, even though the 38-year-old claims, "The ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums [are] all firmly in my past."
Sacrifices: Babies are known to be messy, so we're guessing no more white-themed rooms, then...
Career crazy
She used to sleep on the floor of the dance studio she practised in when she first moved to Manhattan, and J-Lo has made no secret of how focused she is on her success.
"I was always about being a good performer and working hard, doing movies, making music," revealed the star.
Sacrifices: Already with her fingers in several pies - restaurants, fragrances, a clothing line, albums and movies - Jen will have to put her natural ambitiousness on hold.
Friends and family
With hubby Marc besties with David Beckham, Jennifer spends a lot of time with Victoria, who has been passing on tips and advice on how to look after babies - and how to get back in shape after the birth.
Sacrifices: Her father's been a Scientologist for 20 years now, and Jen's rumoured to be one too, meaning she may choose to follow Tom and Katie's lead and not allow her child to mix with non-believers such as Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo. And Jen'll have to be more outspoken about her beliefs - excluding when she's giving birth in silence, of course...

With her last flick, Bordertown going straight to DVD after it was booed at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year, and her recent album a resounding flop, Jen will be even more determined to prove herself as an actress and singer, which could see her choosing her career over kids. And with one source spilling, "The doctor [couldn't] tell if there was more than one baby in there," J-Lo will find it difficult to juggle everything, let alone deal with twins as well!
Christina Aguilera
Diva antics
The Dirrty singer claims her musical influences include Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson, and it would seem they've also influenced her behaviour. Not only is the pop princess reportedly late for everything and feuds with other stars, she's been known to make demands that include only being interviewed in dimly lit rooms and refusing to make eye contact.
Sacrifices: When the new baby arrives, Christina will have to ditch the lateness and get into a routine.
Career crazy
Bullied at school, Christina's been training for the spotlight since she was 10, and made her first TV appearance on US talent show, Star Search. And Hollywood-watchers believe that the five-time Grammy award winner, who states, "I simply love the job I'm doing", won't be able to take a step back when her baby, rumoured to be a girl, arrives. "I just really want to keep going and pushing boundaries [professionally]," revealed the 26-year-old.
Sacrifices: Her drive has seen her sell over 30 million albums, but as she settles into motherhood, Christina will have to put up with seeing younger stars emerge to steal her pop crown.
Friends and family
It seems that no one is exempt from Christina's diva antics. A pal revealed, "Jordan came home with some toys for the baby that his family had bought at Babies R Us, but she didn't like them - so she threw them out." Adding, "She only wants gifts from the exclusive places she's registered at."
Sacrifices: With the mess that new babies make, Christina may have to opt for non-designer toys, that she won't mind seeing get ruined.

Constantly reinventing herself, Christina might enjoy the "mommy" role for a bit, but ultimately insiders think she'll find it difficult to let go of the new projects, including fashion and films, she wants to do.
"I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be acting," revealed Christina, who last month, launched her own fragrance.
