Before a glitzy lunch at the Ivy in LA yesterday, a sheepish looking Li-lo bagan her community service in Los Angeles on Monday, as part of the plea deal relating to her convictions for driving under the influence earlier this year (tut tut).

The not-so-sprightly starled looked pretty moody as she started her 10-day stint, when she was snapped entering an American Red Cross blood services facility at midday. She was later seen leaving the building at 7pm local time, carrying a book simply titled, Blood.

The star - who spent much of the summer in rehab at Utah's Cirque Lodge facility - must complete her prison sentence by January. Still, it doesn't all look too miserable - look at the lovely locals she gets to mingle with - they can't believe their luck. Usually when a naughty so-n-so comes in to serve their time, they don't have a string of movies and a fleet of paps behind them. They're usually a dirty truck driver called Barry.

Bet Barry wouldn't get to don a silver jumpsuit and order a string bean salad at the Ivy after HE'S spent the morning scrubbing toilets?
