And we're buying our binoculars in anticpation...
It was bound to happen, really. He already owns the world (metaphorically speaking), so snapping up a piece of Dubai's greatest development project was a given for this uber-star, and something they probably couldn't put a price tag on. What Brad wants, Brad gets.
Ok, so it was clearly ridiculously expensive - some parts of The World are going for up to USD $50 million, but Brad's aim, apparently, is to use his plot to create a new eco-development, to encourage us all to live a "greener" life and of course, for his fine self to leave behind a legacy other than Ocean's 11.

Other loaded celebs to have staked their claim on parts of Nakheel's exclusive project allegedly include Richard Branson and Rod Stewart. Rest assured we're all saving up here for Ahland (geddit? sigh)
