KIRSTEN DUNST has laughed off speculation she is romancing JUSTIN LONG, insisting the rumours "are the funniest thing on planet Earth".

The Spider-Man star has been repeatedly photographed with Justin over the summer shortly after he announced his split from actress DREW BARRYMORE in July.

But Kirsten insists she is currently single - and has actually only met the actor once.

She says, "I don't know him from Adam. I met him once and he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home. I've never seen him since."
