Boy band *N SYNC are set for a shocking reunion - because they still owe their old label bosses an album or two.

The Bye Bye Bye singers went on hiatus to allow JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE to launch a solo career, but now he's a superstar, a planned comeback seems unlikely.

But former bandmate LANCE BASS reveals the band is contractually obliged to work together again.

Bass says, "We've always discussed it. It's always a possibility and we still owe some records to the record companies.

It could be possibly a year, it could be five years from now. It depends on everyone's schedules kind of aligning together."
