The eclectic taste that's travelled the world, comes to the Sheraton Creek...

Tartare - not a luvvie farewell, as some might think, but a form of posh food preparation that has travelled the world. From Russia to Germany, crossing China and eventually gaining the alternate name of Hamburg Steak - tartare as a dish first became popular amongst the working class. The Russians adopted it themselves, using only beef, and served it under the name Steak Tartare - gradually adding chopped onions and egg to the meat.
It was only in the early 21st century that tartare preparations began to re-appear on the menus of high-end restaurants. Especially popular were preparations with fish and beef - tantalizing the tastebuds of a more eclective crowd - such as yourselves, perhaps?
For the month of November, The Lobby Café and the Chelsea Arms Pub, in the Sheraton Creek Hotel are dishing up a dose of exclusive Tartare for all to try. How does Beef Tartare on BBQ Tomato Sauce sound? Or Endives Salad and Grilled Zucchini? Hammour Tartare on Cold Tarragon Emulsion with pickles and capers, maybe? Perhaps some Salmon Tartare tickles your fancy?
However you choose to sample this word-class delight, do it at the Sheraton this month, and then tell us all about it!
Price: AED 18 net onwards per dish.
