Lily has shrunk from a size 12 to a size eight thanks to the help of London-based hypnotherapist, Susan Hepburn. Each hypnotherapy treatment aims to ‘reprogramme' the brain, telling the subject to enjoy eating healthy food and take regular exercise, whilst reminding them to stop eating when they feel full. And while the ‘think yourself thin' treatment doesn't come cheap at Dhs2,200 an hour, it's successfully helped Lily lose the weight she wanted.
"After the hypnotism I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad," says the feisty singer. "I just want to get more toned and healthy. I'm feeling really good at the moment - I've never been happier."
Fitness regime
Paranoid about her "chunky thighs", Lily has enlisted trainer to the stars, ‘Body Doctor' David Marshall, to help tone up her flabby bits. Credited with whittling model Sophie Dahl down from a size 18 to a size 12, the fitness guru is famous for his gruelling, army-style training techniques, and is said to push Lily to breaking point during their daily sessions. Lily's specifically tailored workout aims to resculpt her lower half through controlled moves and weight training.
Food swaps
Swapping sugar, wheat and processed foods for fish, lean meats and steamed veggies, washed down with ginger, beetroot, carrot, apple and celery juice, the singer is eating sensibly to maintain her new size eight frame. Typically tucking into herbal tea for breakfast, sushi or edamame beans for lunch and crudites and dried fruit for dinner, Lily's intense new diet seems to be working wonders on her wobbles.
