Justin Timberlake was a bit of a loser at the 2007 MTV European Music Awards in Munich on Thursday, after failing to win any of the four awards he was nominated for. Awwww Justin, don't worry, we still love you over here!

Canadian rocker starlet AVRIL LAVIGNE emerged triumphant, taking home two gongs. She was given the accolade of Solo Artist Of 2007, while her hit single Girlfriend scooped the award for Most Addictive Track.

Linkin Park won the Band Of 2007 award, and R&B beauty Rihanna beat competition from Beyonce Knowles, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Timbaland to win the Ultimate Urban prize.

British big-barneted star Amy Winehouse continued her run of awards successes, winning the Artists' Choice gong ahead of other favourites Lily Allen, The White Stripes and Nelly Furtado. However, her live performance of Back To Black left audiences at the ceremony in Munich, Germany lost for words as she slurred her way through the song and appeared... well... drunk, throughout. Oops.
