“[The placenta] is going to be in the orchards and it’s going to bear some wonderful fruit. When I was in Australia, they had a placenta tree that was on the river… and all the placentas of all that aboriginal tribe went under that one tree. It was gorgeous.”
Translation:
“If I keep spouting this deep spiritual stuff, maybe movie directors will see me as more than just chick flick fodder.”
Matt says:
“You’re never told in our house, ‘Shhh, Levi is sleeping.’ No. Get used to the ambience. Come with us. That’s how I was raised.”
Translation:
“The nanny will tend to the crying baby, while I busy myself with my bongos.”
Matt says:
“Everyone talked about how, ‘Oh, you have a kid, life changes.’ And a lot of them had an insinuation under that, like you have to stop living your life as you live it. That’s not the case.”
Translation:
“Stuff Camilla, I’m going surfing.”
Camilla says:
“It’s the best story and the best dance I ever had… You have contractions and you’re dancing with your partner.”
Translation:
“Matthew leapt around like a wimp squealing, while I squeezed his hand to breaking point.”
Camilla says:
“Breast feeding is the best diet you can have. I’m not out there with a trainer seven days a week, but I am doing some very home-styled workouts.”
Translation:
“My plastic surgeon does home visits.”
Camilla says:
“I had a really long labour. it was like, 60 hours… I had a blast doing it.”
Translation:
“I cannot believe that Matthew let me suffer for almost three days without drugs.”
