With a cameo in Madonna's upcoming world tour in the pipeline, a nomination at September's VMAs, and a new and improved relationship with Kevin Federline and the kids, it looks like Britney Spears may finally be getting her life back on track.

Having lost over six kilos in the last month, Brit was recently snapped flaunting her newly honed curves on holiday in Mexico - with insiders claiming the famously flaky star is doing everything she can to get her amazing body back - for good!

Total makeover
Hey, big spender!

After her bloated belly sparked pregnancy rumours earlier this year, sources claim 26-year-old Brit was fed up with her flabby body and wanted to do something about it. Determined to get rid of every wobble and bump, the singer signed up for an intensive body overhaul costing a jaw-dropping Dhs80,000 per month.

The super-expensive makeover - which is responsible for whittling her frame from 63 kilos to 57 kilos - included shelling out Dhs36,000 for a nutritionist and diet supplements to help boost metabolism and weight loss, Dhs29,000 on personal training sessions and Dhs14,500 on private dance choreography classes with The Pussycat Dolls' personal trainer, James Van Daff.

Fresh start
Stay-slim secrets

Alongside her gruelling fitness regime, junk food addict Britney's also been watching what she eats.

Cutting out all fast food in favour of fresh produce, Brit now tucks into lots of steamed fish and vegetables, washed down with mineral water instead of countless cans of energy drinks. Making sure she sticks to a 1,400 calorie limit each day, she also allows herself one ‘cheat' day during the week, and follows strict portion control, eating no more than two thirds of her plate of food at each meal. And just like Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale, Britney has been inspired by LA's new queen of lean, Victoria Beckham, snacking on protein-rich edamame beans when she feels hungry between meals.
