Robbie banned from Dubai?
Why Mr Williams is never allowed to play here again!
British pop hunk (and lately, bit of a boozer/loser?) ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been banned from holding a concert at a Dubai racecourse - because his last gig scared the ruling Sheikh's thoroughbred horses.
The singer was paid USD $2 million for a sell-out concert at the Nad Al Sheba racecourse in April last year, (ah, we remember it well) but the noise of the concert scared Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Arabian mares.
Dubai Racing Club chief Frank Gabriel says, "It affected their state of mind and their performance. That will never happen again."
What do you think scared them the most? Angels, Millennium, or an impromptu performance of Never Forget? We're betting on the first one, it was awesome, wasn't it! In fact, forget the pretty ponies, it affected us too. In quite a different way...

Surely, he would just be banned from playing near stables... I mean, in reality, who would consider an active race course with stables as a concert venue?!

You other posters wouldnt know talent if it smacked you full in the face. The guy has talent. whether or not it is to your liking is neither here nor there. Millions can't be wrong and record sales don't lie. The point is he has been banned from playing at NADS because it frightend the horses, i am not surprised to be honest as with Bryan Adams etc when they have all played there. However, i think the Autodrome would be a much more suitable venue for a rock band or the likes of him. just IMHO.
