Ditzy model KELLY BROOK has been stopped by police after she was caught talking on her mobile phone while driving.

The British model, who is dating Hollywood actor BILLY ZANE was pulled over by police in Kent, England last week after she was spotted chatting on her phone while she was behind the wheel of her silver SUV.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "The officers didn't treat her differently than anyone else.

"Kelly became really tearful and seemed incredibly embarrassed. She was apologising over and over again."

The act of using a cellphone while driving has been illegal in the UK since 2003 and offenders face a US$160 fine.
