Desperate for reassurance from John
It's the week she has been dreading: Ange has been hospitalised in anticipation of the birth of Brad's twins. Jen's been acting like a teenager, following boyfriend John Mayer on tour, but as the birth approaches, her mask is slipping. She's consumed by feelings of bitterness, and it's driving a wedge between her and John.

Pity party
Onlookers say Jen's reaction to the births could place her relationship with John Mayer in jeopardy. She's unsurprisingly feeling sorry for herself and in need of reassurance, but insiders worry she's played the pity card too many times.

"She plays hurt and helpless - that's her ploy," said a source. "It worked with Brad Pitt and it worked with Vince Vaughn and it's working with John Mayer. But sooner rather than later, these guys see through her, recognise how self-centred she is, and realise how high-maintenance she is."

Younger models
Her insecurity was apparent when she allegedly banned John's ex-conquest Kimberly Stewart from the backstage area of his London gig.

"For the first time in her life, Jen feels she may not stack up against other girls," a source told a US tabloid. We reported last week how Jen is desperate to have John's baby but now that the reality of the twins' arrival has hit, she's been reduced to begging for sympathy and reassurance from John that the relationship is going anywhere.

Jen's reportedly asked Brad to call to inform her of the twins' birth before the rest of the world. Friends say she is addicted to scouring the papers for news on Brangelina and can't bear to find out the news in a tabloid newspaper.

Begs to keep his family
Guy Ritchie's flown to New York to beg Madonna to reconsider her plans to divorce him. Madge has threatened to move Lourdes, Rocco and David to America and Guy is in turmoil over the thought he won't get to see his kids. Guy's even pleaded with the singer to let him move to New York. But a source reports that Madge rejected his pleas saying: "You're not coming. I still want a divorce. Stay in London."

Losing his kids
"Guy categorically denies he will go along with a divorce. He refuses to risk losing full contact with Rocco - or putting his son through a break-up. The Dhs360 million he could receive from a divorce settlement pales into insignificance compared to his love for his son," said a source. But it seems Madge's mind is made up.

Shunned by married lover
After details of an affair with married actor Balthazar Getty emerged last week, Sienna's been shunned by her rumoured lover as he clambers to save his marriage. "It's not true. No truth to any of that," insisted the Brothers And Sisters star, despite incriminating pictures to the contrary.

Chose his family
The actress allegedly spent a delirious week holed up with the dad-of-four in a cosy Hollywood Hills love nest, but is now being left out in the cold as Balthazar attempts to woo back his wife Rosetta.

"Family is very important to me," said the actor, who is desperate to stop his wife talking to divorce lawyers.

Just desserts
The dismissal will leave Sisi heartbroken, say friends, but the cruel treatment will be seen as by many as just desserts for the actress who reportedly enjoyed several dates with Balthazar before splitting with Notting Hill actor Rhys Ifans.
