What’s the deal with Pammie & Tommy?

If ever there was a walking advertisement for failed marriages it has to be Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, who, between them, have managed to plough four into the ground - least of all their own very tempestuous three-year union.

But now the pair have just admitted they're back on - and living together again - and Tommy's even gone vegetarian for his re-re-re-discovered love. How sweet!

Ahlan! reveals the four reasons why this pair just can't stay away from each other...

1 She never stopped loving him
The actress had twice started divorce proceedings against Tommy before they divorced in February 1998, just three days after Pam had Tommy arrested for spousal abuse - alleging he kicked her whilst she held son Dylan, then aged one. But after Tommy's six-month stint in jail and anger management therapy, Pam was soon back in her bad boy's arms.

2 They never actually split up
Ms Too-Much-Info (and too few clothes!) revealed in a 2007 interview that they'd shared a bed for years after their divorce. And before her 2006 marriage to Kid Rock, sources say Pam was still hankering after Tommy, lamenting, "If you loved somebody once, how could you not love them anymore?"

3 They're doing it for their sons
Despite their differences, the rocker, 45, and Pam, 40, have always maintained a good relationship for the sake of their sons, Brandon, 12, and Dylan, 10. And Tommy revealed, last week that the boys are thrilled their parents are back together again.

"Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It's awesome, man. It's definitely working," he enthused. "You can tell on the kids' faces - they're happy when we're together."

4 They finally want the same things
The pair famously moved in together after knowing one another for three days, but during their short-lived marriage they were more wed to their careers, with Pam starring in the likes of Baywatch and Barb Wire and Tommy immersed in his band. But now, Pammie - who's more known for her animal activism these days - has revealed, "I have faith that we are headed in the right direction." Adding, "I think Tommy is the love of my life. I don't want any other husbands."
